Mental Health IS your Mental Strength
Mental strength vs Mental Health
Service Description
When i was 12 years old i started Rowing. I wasnt tall, strong, big enough to Row so i became a Cox. Cox is in simple terms Coach in the Boat. I wasnt happy about not being able to Row and how other guys/rowers looked comparing to me! But i embraced the railty and said to myself, "I am going to be the best" in what i do! So i did, I was World Champion at age of 16. I was finalist of 3 Rowing World Championships and i almost went to Olympics if they didnt cancel our race 1 year prior to 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Looking back now i am glad i didnt become a rower right away, WHY?? If i did i wouldnt go the path that i did, path of higher resistance, path of building my own way in the forrest full of obstacles, failures, hard lessons, life lessons. Often times i wanted to quit because i was tired of being told to Run on 110 degrees, not being able to eat when i wanted to, being a physically weak vs rowers and not being able to fight back. But what i didnt know is how that road would shape me into who i am today, who i became along the way in life and how it gives me strength to fight through life! In this course you will learn: 1) How to embrace hard times 2) Why mental strength is just a word 3) How mental health impacts mental strength 4) What you going through is a lesson, not a curse 5) Why depression is your strength 6) Society is not "accepting" you because 7) more Just 1% of teenagers compete at World level and win medals!
