   Who is Coach Miroslav/Misha??

I was NOT supposed to be here,

Not in this country
Not in this position.
Not as the person I AM today!

Growing up in Yugoslavia/Serbia my childhood was not like yours or any other ordinary one... its more like Extraordinary.

I was World Champion at 16 as Coxswain- an achievement earned by less than 1% of Youth athletes in the World.

That moment changed my life forever, but more than gold medal around my neck it thought me lesson for LIFE.

I've lived through bombings, struggled with self-identity, bullying and had to find a way to Rebuild myself through sport, purpose, HARD WORK and Inat (Grit).

34 years later I do not coach/help athletes, I build Champions for Life!!!

I work with Athletes from Middle/High school level to NBA, NFL, MLB, BJJ World Champions and speak to audiences about my life; Struggles, Perseverance, Resilience, Discipline, Failures and most importantly being You!

Growing up in country torn with Wars, Economic Embargo, turmoil and struggle is my life as childhood summarized in short. I was never "Cool Kid" and i was always weird and different. Unfortunately, in today's world and society being "different" and not following the crowd is frond upon. 

At 12 I started Rowing and I told myself " I will be the best in the World" which i have become!​

But being the best requires more than talent. It takes pain, sacrifice, being laughed at, bullied, doubted—and still not losing your dream. Not folding under pressure. Not giving up on your WHY and losing your purpose, vision, dream. 

My coaching Philosophy is to use Rowing as a tool not the End goal and apply what Rowing/Sports has thought me and apply in Life. How to;

* Handle Rejection,

* Handle pressure (Pressure is privilege)

* Bounce UP from Failure/Setbacks

* Lead with courage.
